erol_foret<p>March &amp; early April in the forest summarized: all recent Springs have been a different kind of mess and this one is too! Late and early Spring species collide in the heated atmosphere.</p><p>Wingless ground beetles, who need not heat any flight muscle and therefore tolerate cold temperature foraged less than normal, while all sorts of unexpected heat-loving bees and wasps are buzzing around ! I do not know what plants feed them.
