The Supreme Court is discussing children's books today. A multifaith group of Maryland parents is suing on the grounds that their First Amendment right to freely exercise religion is being violated because they cannot opt their children out of instruction using storybooks with LGBTQ+-inclusive themes. 500km train ride today, with two kids.

Super smooth. Got about 4-5 hours of work done. No stress at all. Home by early afternoon, pretty relaxed.

(Ok, I used an upgrade to 1st class. That was nice, too.)

I asked Child B if they thought zebras were white with black stripes, or the other way around.

After careful consideration, they decided that the front half of a #zebra is white with black stripes, and the back half is black with white stripes. And if you look very carefully you can see where the halves meet.

Glad that's cleared up.
