So #Microsoft is retiring the #PlanetaryComputer Hub, which allowed you to do quite advanced analyses using standard #Python packages. I guess we can run it elsewhere, and this was always on the cards, that's why using a standard #pangeo setup was good, but as with all things cloud, it's infuriating!!!
wondering if i know anyone working on, or with pangeo-forge https://pangeo-forge.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ - what's the experience like, what blocks out uptake? The paper (Crowdsourcing Analysis-Ready, Cloud-Optimized Data Production) has shoutouts to @sgillies and @hobu
