John :au: :hb:<p>My <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/OxHeart" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OxHeart</span></a> <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/tomato" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tomato</span></a> plant is dead. </p><p>Last week, while the rest of the state (mostly) had steady or heavy rains we had very strong winds.</p><p>We tried restaking the tomato but all of its roots had been torn out & it didn’t recover. </p><p>(I prefer our old <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/Cherokee" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Cherokee</span></a> tomatoes anyway, so it’s no big loss).</p><p>The last of its fruit is going into another <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/devilled" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>devilled</span></a> <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/sausage" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sausage</span></a> <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/dinner" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dinner</span></a> tonight.</p>
