@ElizabethLeeCo Is the issue with the navigation due to poor surveying coverage, awkward app design, something else, or some combination? I've been experimenting with #OsmAnd+ here in #FortWorth and it has been usable at least, though lane guidance is definitely hit-and-miss. #osm
Ahhh, well @vespucci_editor is a different animal altogether.
I sometimes use that for complex editing from a tablet, but my daily mobile editor is @everydoor and #OsmAnd is for bicycle and hiking navigation/map.
FYI, #OsmAnd is a third-party app, independent from the #OpenStreetMap project.
It's definitely among my favorite mapping/navigation app that uses @openstreetmap data.
Edits you contribute to #OpenStreetMap are saved in real time, but most third-party apps can take several days (or weeks) to ingest those changes.
The only exception I know is #OsmAnd, which can provide live updates in as short as 15 minutes.
If you're a regular contributor (you don't need to be a super maper), you may be able to access this premium feature for free, when you login with your @osm account.
