Jakob Thoböll - R.I.P. Natenom<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mstdn.social/@johnno" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>johnno</span></a></span> thank you for testing. On android I use <a href="https://kirche.social/tags/osmand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>osmand</span></a> for that purpose. Exept from displaying height obstacles in the map, I am very happy with that. </p><p>But for now I want to have truck navigation AND Kml / asci data realtime display simultanously</p>

artfulrobot<p>...yep, the short one that you can only really use with <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/GoogleMaps" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>GoogleMaps</span></a> </p><p>I avoid them because <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/SurveillanceCapitalism" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SurveillanceCapitalism</span></a> and also it&#39;s really useless at detail compared to <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@organicmaps" class="u-url mention">@<span>organicmaps</span></a></span> or <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/osmand" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>osmand</span></a> </p><p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@organicmaps" class="u-url mention">@<span>organicmaps</span></a></span> supports the long version not the short.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/what3words" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>what3words</span></a> is awful for reasons that the fedi discusses at length.</p><p>numeric lat,lon are hard to read and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/signal" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>signal</span></a> makes it impossible to copy them from a message.</p><p>degrees, minutes, seconds don&#39;t share well.</p><p>I wish OLC was better supported.</p>

Edits you contribute to #OpenStreetMap are saved in real time, but most third-party apps can take several days (or weeks) to ingest those changes.

The only exception I know is #OsmAnd, which can provide live updates in as short as 15 minutes.
