So today I finally decided to try out #Kdenlive, another open-source video editor, after I've been using #OpenShot until now. I really don't know why I put it off for so long; I guess I got really used to OpenShot. That was a huge mistake though, Kdenlive is so much better. A million times greater performance, making editing far less frustrating, and considerably more cool features. Now video editing can be fun again! I don't think I'll be using OpenShot ever again honestly.

Okay, little #AskFedi follow up to this thing: I know have a thing that can record videos in 10-bit color depth and log if I want to.
Of either #OpenShot or #ShotCut (or another, not KDenLive #OpenSource thing), which can best handle this as well, while ideally also providing decent tools for working with audio, on top of the above requirements (see thread).

OpenShot is a free, open-source video editing application that works on Linux. It is designed to be easy to use and learn. Unfortunately, OpenShot lacks many features compared to Kdenlive or Shotcut. But I will say that the "Cosmic Dusk" theme is the most beautiful theme in OpenShot.
