I had to refrain from calling "Bingo", because I had anticipated that question. But it is an obvious question that deserves an answer. I also had to stop myself from quoting Shakespeare ("There more things ...").
In my case it boils down to this:
1. I have been experimenting with using #NixOS on my laptop, where I do all of my (private) things. I also have home-manager on my work laptop.
I can almost do all of the things I can on my #openSUSE #Tumbleweed laptop. This includes packaging for openSUSE.
But I have not converted all of my 3 dozen different VMs, servers, raspis, NUCs and whatnot to NixOS. They will keep running a mixture of immutable (openSUSE #MicroOS, #Fedora #CoreOS, NixOS, ...) and non-immutable things (Debian, Proxmox, ...). And I would like to be able to manage them from whatever host I am currently working from. Hence I would like to have a working Ansible environment on my NixOS laptop to manage other machines with.
I use #i3wm inside #KDE session. For some time I'm unable to log out. Here's the bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488277
There is a workaround: https://github.com/DMaroo/fakwin
And here's my package for #openSUSE: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:etamPL/fakwin

@inlovewithpda Have you checked whether there is a bug report for your problem? #openSUSE #tumbleweed #btrfs
@inlovewithpda @delta @cryptomator flatpack is already there at your fingertip. I use it for zoom and slack at work. Yes #OpenSUSE even there
I currently only used two apps, that are not available in a rpm repo for #opensuse:
@delta and @cryptomator
So setting up flatpak is a bit overload. I currently just used the appImage.

@inlovewithpda Honestly I am an Arch guy... But to bring Arch at a level that #opensuse provides out of the box... Well it takes me a week every time I need to set up a new machine.

Today I was in the mood and packaged #regal and #opa for @opensuse
Packages still need more testing, but the first steps are done. Found a glitch in the OPA ldflags handling and reported it upstream.
Should arrive in #Tumbleweed soon-ish.
