Oui, il faut insister sur l'importance du choix des formats de fichiers

Le RGI recommande #OpenDocument (.odt, .ods) et place le format de Microsoft "en observation"

Le format OfficeOpen (.docx, .xlsx) est normalisé ISO alors qu'il n'est ni libre ni correctement implémenté par MS Office. Cette entourloupe fait que les gens mal informés pensent parfois que #LibreOffice est défectueux alors que c'est #Microsoft qui ne respecte pas son propre format !

Pour permettre une vraie interopérabilité & une vraie pérennité des documents, il FAUT utiliser les formats OpenDocument.

Interessant wär in diesem Zusammenhang mal zu ermitteln, wieviele #OpenData-Anbieter ihre CSV- bzw. JSON-Formate sauber spezifizieren und dokumentieren.

@keineantwort Ja es gibt etliche Implementationen von sowas. Aber ich will nicht glauben dass noch niemand dran gedacht hat, für sowas mal ein standardisiertes Austauschformat zu schaffen. Verstehe nicht dass das im #OpenDocument Kontext nicht stattgefunden hat. Es gibt ein Austauschformat für mathematische Formeln, warum nicht auch für Formulare?! Dann gäbe es das Potenzial dass diese ganzen Tools (LiberaForms, Nextcloud Forms, Form.io, etc.) das gleiche Format im- und exportieren könnten.

@jsparber It would be great if someone built a very simple GTK4-based word processor on top of libreofficekit. A simple app that can display any LibreOffice document and has basic text-editing features. Together with a minimal clutter-free UI would be great. I'd use it everyday.

LibreOffice would still be for the heavy stuff.

@timbray I followed the OpenDocument vs OOXML format wars quite closely at the time and I was shocked at the type of bugs and sloppiness in Excel itself. Before one even builds a spreadsheet with it.

All these Excel bugs were discussed because it may impact a conversion between formats.

I haven’t trusted Excel with anything important ever since.
