I've created a playlist for Badge to the Future development updates. The latest video shows the new 'My Portfolio' feature!

A quick development update to show transactional emails (i.e. recipients are now notified they've been issued a credential!)

While I'm waiting for a couple of new projects to start, I'm working on a simple credentials issuer. Here's a development update!
Looking forward to presenting (virtually) at the Awards Network event today!
When I started with #OpenBadges back in 2011, small awarding bodies issuing digital credentials for informal and non-formal was absolutely what I had in mind.
Given budgets, awareness, and the pace of change in the sector, we're only just getting there. But exciting times, especially given the power of the #VerifiableCredentials data model
Join us at the top of the hour for the Open Recognition is for Everybody (ORE) community call. All welcome! https://lu.ma/qkhp92r6
We've been noodling on a new domain which pulls together some of our work around #DigitalCredentials
Would YOU be interested in reading this book? Experiment #5 is using LeanPub to publish about #DigitalCredentials https://leanpub.com/digitalcredentials
Congrats to @oceatoon and team for the release of COCOlight
Looking forward to playing a bit more with it tomorrow - especially the federated #OpenBadges integration!
New on the blog: Towards an Open Recognition Wallet

I've never used the #FediHired hashtag because I've mainly seen it used for devs.
But just putting it out there that I'm available for projects and consulting, with info about the kind of stuff I tend to do, from #OpenBadges and #VerifiableCredentials, through to #ProductManagement and helping organisations #WorkOpen available here:
A Little Open #Recognition Goes A Long Way - @dajb wrote about #ePIC and the issue with #microcredentials https://blog.weareopen.coop/a-little-open-recognition-goes-a-long-way-19737be37bbc #openbadges #digitalcredentials #edtech #FOSS
I finally had chance to write a response to a question Bryan Mathers and I received in an N-TUTORR workshop a couple of weeks ago!

This morning at ePIC 2024 I ran a workshop in the main auditorium(!) on the use of #AI in #OpenRecognition.
Here's the slide deck with links to the GPT I created to conversationally map skills against various taxonomies.
What creates the spark behind an illustration? There’s nothing I love better than playing idea ping-pong with a co-collaborator.
This illustration was created for a series of credentialing workshops with Badge guru Doug Belshaw for the N-TUTORR project.
Look, I can't help what I wake up thinking about. This morning, it was the excellent Digital Credentials Consortium AMA yesterday.

After the great AMA with Kerri Lemoie from MIT's Digital Credentials Consortium I've updated the Glossary page on Badge Wiki
https://badge.wiki/wiki/Glossary
I've also added a link to the Glossary from the main sidebar (see screenshot)
Anyone can request an account on Badge Wiki, which uses the same software as Wikipedia. Feel free to update/amend the page!
@dajb excitedly following the #OpenBadges project! We’re working on something that’s very aligned. Give us a few more weeks and I think it’ll become increasingly self-explanatory.
