Any tips on setting it up? </p><p>Only meant for texting and calling specific contacts. Is there a way to set restrictions? Sturmflut<p>Got a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/OnePlus6T" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OnePlus6T</span></a> from eBay to check out the current state of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/postmarketOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>postmarketOS</span></a> on one of the best supported devices. It turned on twice just fine but is now completely dead. Had been lying in the seller's storage for two years (at least that's whats written on a sticker) and it looks like the battery has now died. Seems to be a common problem with these aging devices.</p><p>Any suggestions for a different, less ancient device with a similar level of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/mobilelinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mobilelinux</span></a> support while I try to revive this one?</p>

Mystery solved.

Tried multiple versions of v24.12, edge, and v24.06 and the touchscreen doesn't seem to work on any of them (touchscreen works fine in TWRP). On the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/OnePlus6T" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OnePlus6T</span></a> (Fajita) everything seems to work fine on v24.06.</p>

After a failed attempt to buy it of Amazon from a random Chinese seller (the true capacity was 70%), decided to go an buy it from <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@iFixit" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>iFixit</span></a></span>.</p><p>This battery as 98% capacity (going thru my first discharge cycle, it should reach 100% after the next charge) and it as been working as expected.</p><p>Price diference? 4€.
