Partial success with black quinoa and purple barley tempeh. The problem, I think, was the quinoa: difficult to dry after it's cooked.
Still, the slab was solid and I diced about 2 cups for the stew I was making. Where they myceliuam coating was present (most of the slab), it was exceptionally thick — due to extended fermentation, I imagine. Full report:
