I'm seeing some rumours that the #NaNoWriMo site might be about to shut down soon, so if you have any data there that you'd like to save, now would be a good time to do it. FYI, you can import NaNo data into Trackbear and save it that way if you want; the Trackbear site explains how.

@Edent Revenge of the Mutant Algorithms: 2, The Myth of the Fall of Icarus.

Alternative ending to the ridiculous story of Icarus, equally ludicrous. Icarusʼ maiden flight was successful, and he uses the new-found technology to launch an army of winged naked ladies against the gorping forces of King Minos, only to be thwarted by a cunning plan of Minosʼ Archimedes.

#WritersCoffeeClub 5/1: What's your worst writing month, and why?

Probably November. I'm self employed, so work always takes priority, and November is often a busy month. No complaints there. However November is of course also time for #acwrimo, as well as #nanowrimo, which means emails and social media are brimming with goals, motivations and achievements. Which is all great, it honestly is, but once I'm so wrapped up in work and fall behind, it's a reminder of yet more unfulfilled writing intentions.
On the plus side, it does allow me to take extra time off over the holiday. 🙂

I did an incredible amount of work this Week of Thanksgiving. Not a regular #NaNoWriMo project, but November has really been a month of intense editing.
