Will McKinley<p>Just saw PYGMALION (1938) on 35mm at the Paris Theater in NYC. </p><p>Wendy Hiller and Leslie Howard had roughly the same age difference as Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison, but their chemistry is infinitely more genuine.</p><p>George Bernard Shaw’s Oscar-winning adaptation of his play feels like a screwball comedy. Simply wonderful!</p><p>As a <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/pwME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pwME</span></a> I find it very difficult to watch an extended film, so we viewed in two halves separated by four or five weeks. Moving images often make me dizzy &/or nauseous, so I have to be sure I am both physically and cognitively able to cope.
