Elena. (she/ her)I think I really want a new digital audio player. One that can play better formats than mp3. But goodness, how will I ever find what I need, want, and want to afford? There are so many! And why do they have everything a phone has just without the phone part? Does one really need that? Aren‘t there devices that do not need Android and connect to wifi? These are genuine questions. I guess being able to d/l music from streaming platforms is neat, but do I really want that? Would I miss it if I didn‘t have it? And do I really want to jump into that kind of rabbit hole and do a ton of research? 🫣 I honestly have no clue what I‘m even talking about. jmoupahHelp masto mélomaneland, je recherche depuis environ 1000 ans un lecteur audio sur Linux/Ubuntu qui prenne en charge les dossiers locaux. Oui, les dossiers locaux, la musique que j'ai passé des années à collecter et ranger proprement sur mon ordi au format MP3 et qu'aucun lecteur que j'ai testé ne sait parcourir. Tous fonctionnent par style/artistes/whatever basé sur les métadonnées mais elles ne sont jamais à jour donc ça marche pas !
