@JustinDerrick if you are a @tailscale customer they have an à la cart option for #Mullvad's service. I expose it to a couple of my devices but i also know any email service, notifications service, browsing, sync operations can still correlate those exit node addresses to me.

one of my sisters thought a vpn would mean her employer wouldn't know what she's doing on her phone or even mitigating against bluetooth exploits. it's maddening how much bad information there is about VPNs.

For different reasons I use a self hosted VPN located outside UK.

recently began nagging me to go to the European edition but so far that's all. Presumably due to this change.

I use Brave browser so don't see ads.

Using a self hosted or is important these days, particularly in UK which is a surveillance state.

BBC also loves to abuse , recently stopped letting me use it to see what's on (not just blocking from watching content).
