I have been setting up my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/RaspberryPi" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>RaspberryPi</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/robots" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>robots</span></a> headless for years - both Raspbian/PiOS and Ubuntu.</p><p>Then came along PiOS/Ubuntu23 Bookworm with no headless option, and a month later my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Pi5" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Pi5</span></a>. I had to dig out a wired keyboard and special HDMI display cable.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/MobileRobots" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MobileRobots</span></a>, and especially Raspberry Pi based robots, have very little need of a visual desktop.</p>
