Selena the Retro-Princess<p>I kept a Microvision for myself, but it looked out of place on the shelf with my handhelds, so I decided it went better here with my Virtual Boy and it's Milton Bradley cousin, the Vectrex!</p><p><a href="https://vmst.io/tags/retrogaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retrogaming</span></a> <a href="https://vmst.io/tags/retrocollecting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retrocollecting</span></a> <a href="https://vmst.io/tags/virtualboy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>virtualboy</span></a> <a href="https://vmst.io/tags/vectrex" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vectrex</span></a> <a href="https://vmst.io/tags/microvision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>microvision</span></a></p>

Der TMS1100 ist 1982 schon deutlich kleiner geworden.</p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/MicroVision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MicroVision</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
Damit ist die <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/MicroVision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MicroVision</span></a>-Sammlung erstmal komplett. 😂 </p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
Nun ja...</p><p>Mal sehen, wann Super Blockbuster hier eintrudelt. 😅 </p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/MicroVision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MicroVision</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>
derSammler<p>Eine neue Folge der <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/sammlerEcke" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sammlerEcke</span></a> ist online.</p><p>Diesmal zeige ich den <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/MicroVision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MicroVision</span></a> von Milton Bradley.</p><p>Die nächste Folge wird entsprechend der Umfrage dann das FM Towns Car Marty behandeln. 🙂 </p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/17h_juy8jc4" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">youtu.be/17h_juy8jc4</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/retrogaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retrogaming</span></a></p>
derSammler<p>Took a gamble on this "untested" MB <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Microvision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Microvision</span></a> with the picture of the back showing signs of battery leakage. Turns out the unit (display, sound, keys/knob) is fully working, so is the included BlockBuster game. 🙂 </p><p>Two of the four battery terminals were corroded. Since only two are needed anyway, I removed the bad ones and swapped the good ones around. Also had to re-attach one wire of the speaker and gave the system a light cleaning.</p><p>So for only 15€, I now own the European variant of the MB Microvision as well. (have a mint US variant CiB already)</p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>

derSammler<p>Here's the complete system. It has a new screen and has been re-capped, too.</p><p>Seeing the condition of other systems around, this might be one of the best-preserved original US units. It's freaking 44 years old! 🤩</p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/MicroVision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MicroVision</span></a></p>
derSammler<p>Today, I finished restoring the box of my MB <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Microvision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Microvision</span></a> (US version, 1979). When I got this many years ago, the box was very worn. The last step was to apply a color-protection coating, which also gives the box a nice silky gloss. 🙂 </p><p>The sticker covers a damage caused by an old price tag. It's not very adhesive and can be removed later easily - should I ever come up with a way to fix the damage underneath.</p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/BigBoxRestore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BigBoxRestore</span></a></p>
