Jonathan Emmesedi<p>Every Sunday I look back at the preceding week in Kpop and pick out a music video or performance that I have particularly liked. This week I have chosen Key – Hunter.</p><p>Michael Jackson lives on in Kpop, not as a zombie, but as a continually inspiring artist. “Hunter” would, of course, been impossible without “Thriller”, but it seems to me not a pastiche but a work that has its origins in the past yet is still original in its own right. Never forget when Micheal Jackson decided to do a feature film that showcased the greatness of Black Afrikans in ancient Egypt, in the 90s!! This is the most accurate depiction of the Kemetyu Afrikans ever put in the mainstream media. His friends Steven Spielberg and David Geffen refused to help Michael because of this, so he decided to finance the music video himself.
