Harald Eilertsen<a class="" href="https://hub.volse.no/photos/harald/image/1fe7e9a2-353d-4be3-8aff-41e4abc27cd3" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"></a> In Buffalo '66 we follow Billy Brown (Vincent Gallo) as he is released from prison after doing five years time for a crime he (according to himself) did not do, kidnap a girl, Layla (Christina Ricci), on his way to visit his parents, and forcing her to pretend to be his wife in front of them. I don't really know what to think of this film. It's not bad, but not particularly good either. The story never manages to catch me, and fails to make me believe in it. The relationship between the two main characters (Billy and Layla) also feels more like wishful thinking from Vincent Gallo, who in addition to playing the character of Billy also is the writer and director of the film. It's at it's best is when it really shows that this is an independent, low-budget production. NiseIch teile das zu wenig...heute backe ich wieder mal Brot, weil mir die Energie fehlt mit der U-Bahn in die Stadt zu fahren und Brot zu holen. I have liked running my own instance and controlling it as I desire.The PixelFed instance I finally finished seems pretty nice as a site to focus on my van project and the photography I plan to engage in as I travel.I still haven't gotten the NodeBB forums up, but they are next on the list. Even if I don't end up with a lot of people taking part.Sites are still on my agenda as well.I just don't care for anything else about the big guys these days. Deleted my old Reddit and recreated an account just to comment on Fediverse and Vanlife mostly.This is just me Ranting.

GNU/Matt :fedora: :kde:Clearly written as a series and then hacked apart to fit a 2hr special. Nothing particularly Star Trek about it besides a few alien species. Kinda retreads some of Georgiou's arc from discovery.Its not offensively bad, its just got a break neck pace that leaves you not caring about these characters or the stakes, also ends up feeling muddled in its exposition. Space mcguffin?
