Just a brief update, everything is restored, I think there will be some fine tuning of some obscure application I did not install via package managers or some configuration I did not copy right away.

My VMs run fine (more than fine with this amount of RAM!) and I still can play the games I used to play on the old computer, at least those I was running there.

Including the modded Minecraft with the shaders ;)

Next thing to do is restore the big things like VMs and games which I did not sync as files, so we can see it how much it's going to warm up :) #mageia9 #tuxedo

Just a quick note, everything works fine, I'm just copying a lot of files via wifi from the NAS (I should have begun doing it with a cable, but I'm being lazy :) ).

Everything works out of the box with #mageia9 - the screen is amazing and the Gnome desktop really shine when you put you magnification near 1.5 (I'm just a bit short-sighted so I need text just a bit bigger).

@Gigoince j'ai regardé, j'ai n'ai pas le budget, mais c'est intéressant, c'est une bonne affaire. Avec #mageia9 ou #linuxmint ça doit bien tourner. Et j'ai toujours ton Dell qui tourne impeccablement. Y a que la batterie qui n'en peut plus. J' y ai juste rajouté 4Go de RAM pour le soulager avec GNOME.

#elograf est disponible dans les dépôts de #mageia9.
Après une installation facile via le gestionnaire de paquets et l'ajout du modèle français dans les options, ça marche out of the box.
On a pris 10mn pour se familiariser avec l'outil et c'est impressionnant comme ça fonctionne bien.
On va se laisser un peu de temps pour voir mais je pense que ça va certainement rendre de grands services !
