我有點驚訝，在 Linux 上運行 #FinalFantasyXIV 竟然如此簡單…只要透過第三方啟動器 #XIVLauncher 。

Linux 版本的 XIVLauncher 如果是透過 Flatpak 安裝，甚至都把必要的額外軟體如 Wine 與 Proton 都安裝配置好，不需要其他複雜的設置。只要執行 XIVLauncher 登入遊戲帳號，就可以下載更新與運行遊戲。

除此之外，透過 XIVLauncher 下載遊戲是最方便的，我一直找不到 #FFXIV 的安裝程式下載點，透過 #Lutris 啟動器搜尋也不到好的結果，搜尋到的安裝程式沒有日語的版本。

Ho deciso di passare a #voidlinux e ne sono al momento pienamente soddisfatto. Ci devo ancora lavorare, ma la trovo un ottima distribuzione.

Ho fatto alcuni test veloci con #steam e #lutris

quest' ultimo sono riuscito a farlo funzionare solo installandolo da #flatpak

Comunque #finalfantasyxiv gira decisamente bene.

Just bought #StarTrek #Voyager #EliteForce again through #GOG gaming. Elite Force 1 and 2 are the best #StarTrek games ever made in my opinion....Fight me! #GOG allows you to download the actual binaries for your machine, not just a license to play it, big reason GOG is superior to #Steam. I effed up my Elder Scrolls Online install in #Lutris, and an attempted re-install has failed as well. It's a long effing story. Short version: I deleted something that, at the time, I didn't know it was a bad idea to delete.

Going to take a break from it for now and chill for the evening. I'll hit the forums and Discord tomorrow.

I'm not sure the #linux distro matters anymore.

I just install #lutris and whichever 'runners' I want, steam, wine, ps??, etc. that makes a gaming machine regardless of the distro.

So I made a fix for a #Lutris installer (NFS Porsche) and created a PR on the git of who made the first one.
It was rejected without any comment. Also said person seems to be completely inactive for years.

Should I just yolo it and take over the Lutris installer on Lutris.net? Said person didn't credit themself in the corresponding field, I just found them through the file download links.

The current NFS Porsche Unleashed installer will fail unless you got one specific version. #Linux

Bon, j'ai pu voir que les jeux Steam marchaient globalement très bien sous Linux, mais j'ai pas encore essayé les autres plateformes.

J'ai essayé d'installer le flatpak de gog directement, mais ça n'a pas marché, là j'essaye sous Lutris ça a l'air de mieux se passer.

J'ai lancé le téléchargement de Witcher 3, on verra d'ici ce soir ce que ça donne.

I'm trying to love #Lutris, but the third game in a row (Fallout NV) that doesn't work grinding a little bit on my nerves...

I've been putting off switching to #linux before #W10 goes out of support because I didn't know if #ffxiv would work on it.

@Noyesster told me that #Fedora with #Lutris works 'flawlessly' so I thought I should start working on it.

First thing is replace my last 500 Gb for a 2Tb one, and I decided to go for the #Crucial MX500 (I¡m replacing a 2'5" disk with another).

Turns out, only #fuckingAmazon has it, can't find it anywhere else here in Barcelona.

What a disgusting world we're living in.
