In France, Loom was first reviewed in the April 1990 issue of Génération 4 magazine, but not yet listed by retailers. It will be listed in May. It was also reviewed in May in Tilt magazine.

We used to celebrate Loom's anniversary in January, but in reality the first reviews and ads were published in magazines from May 1990!
And the game was only listed by retailers from that month onwards.

Yesterday I played Loom and managed to go to the end.
It is a game that made a great impression on me when I played it as a kid. One of the first I could complete all by myself.
Now I understand why: it is quite easy and incredibly short 
.
Nonetheless it is a wonderful experience. The story is interesting and served by the most beautiful EGA graphics ever. And the music is sumptuous. 35 years ago it was one of the very first game I played after buying a Sound Blaster. I've loved Tchaikovsky ever since.
