Malattie virali come COVID, influenza e morbillo indeboliscono il sistema immunitario, lasciando il posto al rischio di danni duraturi. La realtà è che non si rafforza l'immunità con infezioni ripetute: i vaccini rafforzano il sistema immunitario insegnandogli a riconoscere i patogeni senza tutti i rischi. È fondamentale concentrarsi sulla prevenzione delle infezioni. • Un test antigenico rapido può rilevare con successo solo circa il 60% delle infezioni sintomatiche precoci e circa il 22% delle infezioni asintomatiche. I test più accurati sono la PCR e i test molecolari. • Il COVID si diffonde e si muove come il fumo di sigaretta: pensa alle persone che ti circondano e a te stesso come a persone che fumano tutto il giorno. Sarà più facile capire come si muove il COVID. • Nelle infezioni sintomatiche, ci vogliono un paio di giorni prima che compaiano i sintomi, il che significa che si è infettati per almeno un paio di giorni senza saperlo.
