:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Excuse the Facebook link but some prick has been invading our privacy with his drone directly over our house while we were in and about the garden.<br>(Especially nice after 6 weeks of antisocial behaviour on the lock in front of out home.)</p><p>Anyway it seems it’s all perfectly legal, because it’s a small unregulated drone, if very antisocial. The Law needs to keep up. 🤬</p><p>But here’s my home and environs from above.</p><p>Sorry it still looks like a building site 😉</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p><p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/v/BUaDVrsrBT61tY91/?mibextid=WC7FNe" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">facebook.com/share/v/BUaDVrsrB</span><span class="invisible">T61tY91/?mibextid=WC7FNe</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Can’t quite believe it’s July and I’ve had to turn on <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/theshed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>theshed</span></a> AirCon to heat it up so I can feel my fingers as I work 🤷‍♂️ 🥶</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/UKweather" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>UKweather</span></a> <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/Shed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Shed</span></a> <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p>

Which is now two linked AIYIMA A07 MAX driving the 4 Mordant Short 902 as son has taken the old lump of Yamaha amp for his new gaming setup</p><p>I did find the tweeters I’d lost so they are now in the one set of 902 👍</p><p>And I’m sorta watching the fire burn outside 🔥🧯💪😂</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a> <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/WeirdShed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WeirdShed</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Yes!<br>Final bits before son can move in are done!</p><p>Fridge door rotated, light modded to not glare into living area, and I clipped the cables up. I’m very happy with the results.</p><p>And today after it stopped raining I was able to do the kitchen sink and shower wastes. Not perfect but it will do until we get the groundwork done and paint the chassis beams. They are tantalised so that can wait for nicer weather along with insulating the water pipes and boxing them in.</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a> <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/ShedMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ShedMastodon</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>I’ve used some skirting off-cuts to make more skirting / kick boards for the kitchen units so that is now finished 😁</p><p>Just need to swap the fridge door to open the other way and fix the light cables and I’m finished inside!</p><p>Outside I still need to plumb in the sink and shower waste but that’s a simple job I think.</p><p>Then get the groundwork guys back to do outside.</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a> <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/ShedMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ShedMastodon</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Sink supply and waste at least to outside the wall are plumbed in and the Blue Tissue of Truth is in place and dry so far.</p><p>So I can plum a sink up and get it watertight first time apparently 🤞😉</p><p>And secondly don’t believe the experts who all insisted running an un-insulated hot water supply pipe 5 meters underground was never going to work. About 3 degrees C drop in temp after a minute and a half running. (About the same as our kitchen sink in the house)🤷‍♂️</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a> <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/ShedMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ShedMastodon</span></a></p>

A major drawback with my <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a> 😉</p><p>Having space to crack on with “projects” without worrying about the weather and tidying everything away every night is pure luxury 👍</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/ShedMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ShedMastodon</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Slow progress today.<br>Worktop wax/oil/vanish is finish!<br>Worktop and sink unit are bonded together and sealed to the wall!<br>Built the draws…</p><p>but still need to fit the handles, sink waste, cupboard doors, make and fit under unit kick panels etc etc</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Last few things to do before son can start to move in!!</p><p>Under wall unit kitchen light installed ☑️</p><p>Kitchen worktop stain - first of 3 coats ☑️</p><p>Donna is doing the oil/varnish as I’d get it everywhere it wasn’t supposed to be. 😉</p><p>Sink will need fixing ◻️<br>Doors on lower units ◻️<br>And some more wall lights ◻️</p><p>And probably a few more things I’ve forgotten… </p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Today I overcome my nerves and actually used the big scary router to cut out the worktop for the conduit 😬</p><p>I think it came out ok. And the worktop is ready to be varnished after I cut the inner cabinets to allow room for sink tap and overflow waste pipes.</p><p>We are nearly finished inside 👍 </p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Not quite as ££$€ scary as the ‘fitting the shower enclosure’ day, but there was much more likelihood of things hurting me today.</p><p>After a few trials with the router, which vibrated loose all my attempts at securing jigs in place, I decided to use my trusty old jigsaw (at least 35 year old 350w Black &amp; Decker one) ….</p><p>About 3 hours later 🥵 (it was very slow going) I ran the router around to square this up 👍</p><p>Just the cutouts for the electric conduit to do now 😁</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>The kitchen units arrived today. So it’s full speed ahead as it’s the last thing to do inside before our son can move in to the cabin.</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>That’s the last of the skirting and trim made up, waxed and now fitted in the cabin.<br>Made a splash back from some off-cut OSB<br>And trimmed around the shower tray.</p><p>Kitchen coming on Friday but apart from fitting that I think I’ve finally finished inside 🕺</p><p>I even managed to try the comfy shed chair during a hot lemon drink break 😉</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p>
:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>I couldn’t bring myself to spend £90 on some wood trim pieces to finish the skirtings etc when I have a pile of wood leftover in the garden from the build.</p><p>So Donna let me spend £160 on a big router (and bits) and I’m making making some 💪🤷‍♂️</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a></p>

The can be a little tricky to get working but we haven’t had any total failure to charge yet. A type 2 to 1 adapter is useful for tethered slow sites.</p><p>Hopefully we can get some mileage on it and test out the charging network once I’ve finished the <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a> and D feels a little better.</p>

:wa: MrRob.in :chevyvan:🇬🇧<p>Upgraded The Shed audio from a 20w micro system to my old 1998 Yamaha DSP-A2 kicking a pair of Mordant Short MS 902 I found on eBay 👍</p><p>I’ll keep a lookout for another set on 902 so I don’t need to crank the volume as high when I’m up the other end of The Shed …</p><p>Sorry neighbours 🔊🔊</p><p>I’d forgotten how heavy these beasts are. If you need a cheap multi speaker amp these are great value but I guess shipping would be expensive 😬</p><p>… back to dancing in The Shed 🕺</p><p><a href="https://weird.autos/tags/LogCabinBuild" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LogCabinBuild</span></a> <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/WeirdAudio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WeirdAudio</span></a></p>
