NormAnyone got/know of a good <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/video" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#video</a> that introduces <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Windows</a> users to <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#LinuxMint</a>?I'm going to install and setup Mint for someone, so I don't need the video to explain how to install <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Linux</a>, etc. I just need a video that explains how to navigate and use the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/OS" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#OS</a>, what's similar/different than Windows, etc.As beginner-friendly as possible please.

Es (Computer, Bedienung) funktioniert. Warum sollte man und v.a. sie sich den Stress antun daran was zu ändern? (Auf dem Computer wird genutzt: Firefox mit adblocker, Thunderbird, MS Word, Picasa)Ja, es gibt keine updates mehr für Windows 7, aber ist das für diesen usecase relevant? Dilman DilaA bit pissed off. My machine is stuck on this, and whatever I do, I can't seem to fix it. The last thing I remember trying to do is install AppImage Launcher via the terminal, and then I launched Audacity, and I kdenlive (which didn't run) I went for lunch and came back to this annoyance. UPDATE. Thanks all for your help! I got it working again. Met name het start menu geeft hele vreemde vertragingen, die dan weer niet in het systeemmonitor ding terug te zien zijn.Zal ik Fedora zelf nog proberen? Some tech support would be greatly appreciated atm.I thought the need for an ethernet connection during LM 22.1 installation/initial setup was overcome years ago. But apparently not, unless I'm missing something.The desktop is running LM no worries, but won't pick-up the wifi connection without the correct drivers, which I can't update without internet, and the loop begins.I have had this machine running LM via wifi for ages, but started having disk errors(sorted now) so I started from scratch with a full reinstall using LVM for my extra HDD's.Any suggestions welcome before I consign this Mac Pro 5,1 to the boat anchor it should be.Cheers.

CrypticaI finally figured out how to add the fs.inotify.max_user_watches=524288line into the sysctl.conf file in a way that doesn't throw permission errors at me, but it didn't fix the actual problem of Nemo being static instead of showing live changes to folder contents.Anyone got anything else I should try?
