If you told me this would be my life, I wouldn’t have believed you 💙

From high-tech in Israel to teaching Hebrew in the U.S., I’ve always built from scratch — creating what’s needed and meaningful.

“Hebrew by Inbal” has been the hardest and most rewarding work of my life.

Your pictures, messages, and real-life use of what I’ve created… it means everything.

This community is bigger than me, and I’m so grateful to be part of it. 💙🇮🇱🤍

Happy Autism Acceptance Month!

As an autistic person, I want to show part of my life story, which covers the following:

- My own journey as an autistic child

- My motivation to pursue non-profit work & public service

- My hopes & ambitions for myself

Medium · A Prayer for Ms. Annie - Ken Vu - MediumBy Ken Vu

Life is like a truly miserable hike. You start off with a naive sense of optimism, brimming with joy and energy, blissfully unaware of what lies ahead. Then, the weather takes a turn for the worse, the path becomes rocky and steep, and suddenly you're lost. By the end, it's all downhill—though it never really gets easier. But in the end, you’ve just grown accustomed to the struggle and are solely focused on getting it over with.

A reflection on a cold late winter night.
When I look at my mother these days, I see the smile that once belonged to my grandmother, because my mother is now the same age my grandmother was when I was a child. I also see my grandfather's expressions and walk.
When I look at my father, I see my grandfather's chin and neck, but my grandmother's expression and posture.

When I look in the mirror, I see a bit of all of them, and although time passes, marking my face, graying my beard and hair, and aging my skin, I know it will make me look more and more like them. And this makes the inevitable passage of time feel a little sweeter.

Episode 15 of my Spiritual But Not Religious podcast is now live. It's a review of the memoir by John Hamilton titled "Honest to God" and how I found that although we have traveled different paths, I feel a deep kinship with his journey.
