OKAY, I'm reasonably happy with the current version. I now have a "progress map" on AlphabeticalZürich, available at https://www.alphabeticalzurich.ch/map.html
The base tiles are @protomaps, with an extra dash of Leaflet (https://leafletjs.com/), an export of my progress spreadsheet as CSV, and some "let's throw some Zürich opendata at the geometry problem".
And a non-zero amount of work to integrate it as I wanted (including "how do I avoid trivially leaking my API key"), but I *think* it's reasonably clean. It would probably warrant a proper blog post, if only to document things for myself, but now I need a break (... since at least few hours if I'm being honest with myself.)
But there, I'm happy - now I need to update the spreadsheet and the real-world data below it :D
It is nice that #NOAA uses @leaflet in their OPUS map page: https://geodesy.noaa.gov/opusmap/ 
It would be nicer if you update from #leaflet 0.7.5 to something more up to date, like 1.9.4 
BTW, are NOAA or NGS in Mastodon? There is a lot of #GIS people here!

@nilz Man kann GPS Tracks mit den Standard Kartenlibraries (z.B. #leaflet, #openlayers, etc) auf den unterschiedlichsten Karten einblenden. Ob so etwas schon als Standard (mit Auswahl nach Zeit oder …) implementiert wurde, ist mir nicht bekannt. Auf der OSM Seite kann man sich alle öffentlich hochgeladen GPS Tracks für ein Gebiet anzeigen lassen: Hier für #Wuerzburg https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/62464#map=12/49.7804/9.9432&layers=G. Hier ist geht es eher um die Genauigkeit der eingezeichneten Wege zu den gefahrenen Wegen.

So far, I only have locations that serve (at least) as early voting centers. There are several more pages of day-of voting centers that I could conceivably add. I'm debating building a small, static, mobile website with #Leaflet to perhaps make a "show me my closest voting station" feature, and maybe a "schedule my voting time" feature that spits out an ical file or something. The opening hours are all there in the OSM data.
(Annoying sidenote: most college/university locations are either early vote only, election day only, or not open at all :()
Bei meinem Hobbyprojekt @nomindo wächst der Frontend-Code immer mehr. Frontend ist aber nicht meine Stärke. Vor allem die interaktiven Karten (mit #Leaflet) haben eine grosse Menge an (dupliziertem, ungetestetem) Code angesammelt. Könnte mir jemand helfen, das besser zu machen? Ich nutze LibreWolf (bei Firefox gleiches Problem). Den verbesserten Tracking Schutz habe ich deaktiviert. Bei uBlock ist auch alles grün (s. screen shots)

Ech kurde. Właśnie odkryłem, że plugin od cache psuje mi wyświetlanie map na blogu.
Gdy jestem zalogowany widzę na mapie wszystkie markery POI, profil wysokości trasy i mam możliwość pobrania pliku gpx, ale bez logowania jest tylko mapa z narysowaną trasą.
Znowu trzeba będzie dłubać, albo wyłączyć keszowanie całkiem, bo i tak nie ratuje bloga przed FediDDoS-em, a cała reszta ruchu jest znikoma.
