~* Sarah 🇨🇦<p>We're visiting Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and started with a trip to the car-free Macinac Island. It's in Lake Huron near the straits of Macinac, connecting it to Lake Michigan (though they're technically the same lake). </p><p>The Great Lakes are magnificent. They're so big that looking across them feels a lot like looking across the ocean in some spots (minus the salt water breeze). </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Michigan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Michigan</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/GreatLakes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GreatLakes</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/LakeHuron" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LakeHuron</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/MacinacIsland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MacinacIsland</span></a></p>
