Bin heute früh vom Radiowecker geweckt worden - mäßig ungewohnt. Europa ist der Kontinent, der sich am schnellsten erwärmt; Merz Kanzler-elect; Ungarn verweigert nicht- binären Menschen die Anerkennung als Bürger. Und ich muss zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben eingestehen: Ich habe Angst vor der Zukunft. Albträume werden gerade wahr. Ist Egoismus die unausweichliche Reaktion auf nachteilige Entwicklungen?

"Il faut imaginer Sisyphe queer", écrit le magazine LGBTIQA+ "Têtu" dans l'éditorial de son numéro de printemps. La phrase est une allusion au livre de l'écrivain et philosophe Albert Camus "Le Mythe de Sisyphe", où il utilisait la figure du supplicié éternel du Tartare de la mythologie grecque pour réfléchir sur l'absurde et sur le sens à donner à sa vie. Sans être si sombre, l'éditorial de "Têtu" emploie Sisyphe comme figure de la résilience face aux obstacles nouveaux mis sur le chemin de l'égalité des droits pour les minorités d'identité de genre et d'orientation sexuelle en butte à "l'internationale réactionnaire".

He terminado el libro de Judith Butler, ¿Quién teme al género?
Los primeros dos o tres capítulos, sobre el Vaticano y EE.UU., me han costado, muchos detalles que me interesan poco. Un resumen hubiera sido suficiente. Pero luego el libro empezó a gustarme más.
Me gusta y comparto su insistencia en alianzas, en la justicia social, el anti capitalismo, etc. La verdad es que esto estamos intentando en el manifiesto del #8M en #Sevilla. También insistir en una visión de un mundo mejor...

Last night I finished reading 'Outrage' by Ellen Jones.
And just now, I've submitted a five-star review on Amazon: here it is:

Ellen Jones writes in a very easy-to-read manner; whether she's recalling her own experience or galvanising the reader to take action to help support LGBTQIA+ rights. It is, indeed, full of outrage, but also full of suggestions of what the reader can do to show allyship to the community. I haven't read a better book that clearly sets out the inequalities and discrimination facing the community.
If you're not part of the community, this is a perfect book to see what barriers face us and different aspects of our identity. For those who are part of the community but not yet encouraged to support ALL of the community, this book is for you. For those who are part of the community and fully support all members of our community, this book will simply reinforce your resolve and probably teach you things you didn't know you needed to know. There were aspects of the book that I didn't know I needed to know. And if you're unsure if you should read this book – just read the introduction, and if that doesn't encourage you to do something, then I don't know what will.

Huge congratulations to Ellen on what is a very much needed book.
