Habe erst gestern durch zufall entdeckt, dass mein Sony WH1000XM4 sich einschalten und verbinden, wenn ich mit dem Handy die linke Hörmuschel berühre - und sich auch wieder trennen, wenn ich das nochmal mache.

Das ist ja super!

Da meine Kopfhörer aktuell auf den LDAC Codec eingestellt sind, können sie immer nur mit einem Gerät aktiv verbunden sein. Mit dem neu entdeckten Feature geht der Gerätewechsel viel leichter von der Hand!

Got new Soundpeats headphones with the #LDAC codec. I knew that LDAC was semi lossless (similar to FLAC or ALAC) but I was not expecting that the latency would be so small.

I can properly edit video or do music with these earbuds. They sound really good, especially for how cheap they are.

Заявляют USB-C, улучшенные микрофоны, еще дольше работу от батареи (до 50 часов), подключение к двум устройствам сразу.

Немного удручает разве что то, что Bluetooth не 5.2 и убрали #aptX в пользу #AAC и #LDAC.

Jak ktoś jest ciekawy, to Linux (między innymi #Fedora) obsługuje kodek #LDAC przez Bluetooth od razu, na dzień dobry - bez instalacji żadnych sterowników czy aplikacji. Testowane z Huawei FreeBuds 5i i Anker SoundCore Liberty 3 Pro.

Jestem zaskoczony jak duży postęp #Linux wykonał. Jeszcze jakiś czas temu męczyłem się ze słuchawkami BT, a teraz wszystko działa tutaj prawdopodobnie najlepiej na rynku OS-ów dla komputerów.

Since I just shared some advice on in ear monitors I can also share it here:

If your #inear #headphones/#earphones or #IEM 's hurt, and you're using ones with a nozzle+replaceable tip construction, chances are the nozzle has a too large diameter. Many (most?) nozzles are 5mm in diameter or nozzle size "T400". There are other sizes out there, notable T100 (3mm). Some manufacturers produce mostly T100 (or T200) nozzles, such as Shure (although a bit pricy). An easy way to find T100 models is to go to the website of comply who manufacture foam tips in various sizes, select T100 and look for the supported models in the compatibility tab:

Additionally, I can recommend buying earphones with detachable cables. The plug is standardized (e.g. MMCX) which means you can a) replace broken cables and b) use the ear unit from say Shure with the #Bluetooth module from LinSoul and switch between wireless and wired. You can also upgrade from Bluetooth 4 to #BLE #Audio when it will be more available or to BT modules that support #AptX, #LDAC, #AAC or other special audio codecs whenever you feel like it. This prolongs the life time of your product. #hifi #RightToRepair
