I am sadly moving one of my machines from #Fedora to #Debian.
I prefer Fedora in many ways but this machine runs several instances of #Klipper in containers.
The containers themselves are based on Debian and... wow... there is so much pain when it comes to dealing with USB in containers and it compounds when the distro host and the base images approach things differently.
A mess of systemd units and fragile fixes in the container and host just aren't worth it.
Anyone out there use #Klipper - open source 3d printer controller software? I am going to borrow my friend's unused Creality Ender 5 Pro and try to get it working with Klipper. #3dprinting
Annoying printer problem: today my printer has decided the z axis should only ever move down never up. Up commands result in moving down. I hadnt changed the config at all since it printed fine two days ago.

Ne, nepotřebuji to, ale - už nemám doma co stavět, postavil jsem 3x #VORON (já mám Trident 300), udělal spousty upgradů tiskáren Ender3 (asi 20ks) na #klipper a tohle mne láká 
Zatím u mne vítězí #BoxTurtle před #ERCF (vyčetl jsem - jednodušší stavba, rozchození, tisk dílů)

Hey #klipper and #3D #printing community, is there any description on how I get the pin from a specific port on the board?
In particular I want to address the controller fan of the Anycubic i3 mega s board (atmega2560) which is on fan 1.
Currently the fan does not really spin (but is working).
Is there anybody who could help me?

* Cheap enclosure kit
* Cheap in general
* CoreXY (I mean, the A1 is fine for the most part, but there are definitely prints where a fixed bed would be better)
* Slightly odd 220x220 bed.
Cons:
* Getting the impression it’s #Klipper -ish but not quite?
* The company has been around for a long time, but I do wonder how long they will sell replacement parts. Proprietary hotend/nozzle, naturally.
* No resale value
* They’ve forked Orcaslicer, because of course they have.
If you're trying to switch your Panda Touch to the K-Touch firmware: just follow the standard OTA procedure and load the firmware.bin and img files. The other 2 files on the Github are apparently not necessary, and you also do not need to use their Windows-only flashing tool. #BigTreeTech #3DPrinting #Klipper
Fluidd 1.32.1 is out, with active printer bookmarkable URLs, direct control of printer power via Moonraker, Kalico's firmware retraction z-hop support, and lots of other improvements and bug fixes!
Maybe time to switch the #BigTreeTech Panda Touch over to #Klipper usage? I only ever use it for monitoring purposes and I have plenty of ways to do that.
My Klipper printers on the other hand could use an actual interface that isn’t a phone. #3DPrinting

I doubt I am alone in debating building a lobotomy kit (or stripping it for a custom build) so that BTT announcement brings me ridiculous joy. I ran a bunch of their boards in my old Ender and they've been awesome.
If you were considering a lobotomy and want to go more hands-on than BTT, check out this project. They are building a Klipper swap-in for the P1 series. It is brand new and nowhere near feature complete, but proceeding super fast. (Technically, you could print with it today even with an AMS but it is a very young project. Don't hassle them about missing features.)
