I want to share more, but it gets depressing how few people seem to take an interest (on any platform, not just Fedi.) heredosdamn, i also forgot <a href="https://heredos.net/snack?t=jmusicfriday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#jmusicfriday</a> (sorry kingu)!<br>so, this time, an album from an artist i used to really dislike, and i still seldom listen to, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLx35-tTpVqT3QtRU6sNXEqRnOqKeOeORR" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">2018年かたぎりの旅</a>.<br>katagiri used to be too much hardcore for me to handle. And also, katagiri is a sampler. and not the pleasant to the ear kind. but as i listen to more and more music, i start to get it. it's not about the hardcore. it's about the knowledge. the more music you listen to, the more samples you recognize. and when my music player randomly puts a katagiri album, i always realize there is this one more music i recognise.<br>and this time, in <a href="https://heredos.net/snack?t=swinging_fox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#swinging_fox</a> (the hashtag is part of the name of the song) i was surprised to hear lone digger by caravan palace. which is not even japanese music. i guess the french caravan palace just exported that well.<br>
Kingu<p>The <a href="https://sakurajima.moe/tags/JMusicFriday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>JMusicFriday</span></a> hashtag relatively died out...</p><p>So I will recuperate it and each friday I will post a Japanese album that is worth it (according to me, at least).</p><p>I generally post individual songs but good recommendation of whole albums is also nice!</p><p>So to start this off, I propose <strong>Carnival</strong> by <strong>Sheena Ringo</strong>.<br>This was my AOTY for 2024!</p><p>This is a cool jazzy album whose particularity is the presence of a guest artist on every tracks.</p><p>This include (but is not limited to: Nocchi (from Perfume), Atarashi Gakko! and DAOKO.</p><p>My favorite track is "Hatsu K.O.
