Modern <a href="https://mastodon.headcrashing.eu/tags/Java" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Java</span></a> is perfectly suited for new software development, it is superior in many ways to Rust, Go, etc. Looking at your claims, it seems you have no understanding of modern Java at all. Proof your claims. Give numbers.</p>
☕ Head Crashing Informatics 🤘<p>Team Jersey today adopted my latest performance optimization 🤩 , so v3.1.7 (and with this, one of <a href="https://mastodon.headcrashing.eu/tags/GlassFish" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GlassFish</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.headcrashing.eu/tags/Payara" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Payara</span></a>'s next releases) will be a bit faster 🏎, using less resources 🌳 at the same time! <a href="https://mastodon.headcrashing.eu/tags/java" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>java</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.headcrashing.eu/tags/jaxrs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>jaxrs</span></a> <a href="https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jersey/pull/5341" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jersey</span><span class="invisible">/pull/5341</span></a> ☕ 🚀</p>

Rudy De Busscher<p>You can run your <span class="h-card"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@jakartaee" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>jakartaee</span></a></span> application without a runtime! With the addition of the Java SE Bootstrap API to <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/JAXRS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JAXRS</span></a>, you run a Jakarta EE application from your <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/java" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>java</span></a> main method. Robert von Burg :vegan: :tux:<p>It was a wild day, moving from javax.rs to <a href="https://mstdn.gsi.li/tags/Jakarta" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jakarta</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.gsi.li/tags/JAXRS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JAXRS</span></a>. I'm still not completely done, as some issues linger with <a href="https://mstdn.gsi.li/tags/Apache" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Apache</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.gsi.li/tags/Camel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Camel</span></a> and XML serialization, but that should be done soon...</p>

Cybre Rick<p>For those who don't yet know:</p><p>The "Feature" interface is like a mini-ResourceConfig - you can configure absolutely anything there! Providers, resources, etc. Best of all, it's built right into the <a href="https://cybre.space/tags/JAXRS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JAXRS</span></a> standard. No <a href="https://cybre.space/tags/Jersey" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jersey</span></a> required!</p><p>So you may not be able to inject <a href="https://cybre.space/tags/Spring" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Spring</span></a> 's context in your ResourceConfig class, but you CAN do it in a Feature!</p><p><a href="https://cybre.space/tags/Java" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Java</span></a></p>
