Scott Murray :neurodiversity:<p><a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Mac" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mac</span></a> nerds: When you have an Open dialog visible, you can normally drag a file from the Finder *onto* the Open dialog (in another app) and the dialog should "navigate" to where that file lives and select it.</p><p>You knew that, because you’re a <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/pro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pro</span></a>! 🤓</p><p>In some apps, though, that same maneuver results in Finder actually *moving* the file to whatever directory is shown in the Open dialog — not “navigating" the dialog *to* the file and selecting it.</p><p>What gives??? This drives me crazy.
