Jim EasterbrookHoliday day 6: Got the Lötschberg paddle steamer from Interlaken Ost to Iseltwald, then walked a circular route via the Mülibachfall waterfall. Weather was cold and very wet, but it was still a good walk. My newish walking boots proved themselves to be completely waterproof, unlike my rucksack. Got the bus back to Interlaken. Resorted to the traditional way of buying things in <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Switzerland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Switzerland</a> - opening my wallet and saying "help yourself". Will be travelling by train, with overnight stops in Paris to keep it leisurely.

(We've previously stayed in Wengen and Mürren - this time I fancy doing day trips to Brienz, Reichenbach, etc.) Anyone know a good hotel for a week's stay in Interlaken? Quality of breakfast is paramount.
