Week 2025.11
Monday and I got discharged. Having walking setbacks for the next week until I get my stitches out on 3/18, but I got a lot to keep me busy. In order to be more self-sufficient I got a new walker. It allows me to walk semi-normally and I can use my hands again. A big quality of life improvement. Luckily for me it was a short learning curve. Saturday was my first day out that didn't involve a hospital visit. Went out this weekend to celebrate two birthdays.
While I was mostly home, since I could not train, I started a new coding project. I am re-building a design system for the apps I plan to build in the future. Heavily used Github Copilot to build it out. With the right prompts, it's making pump out components faster, including it's storybook file and cypress tests.
I was also able to finish my book "Planet Walker" by John Francis. John demonstrated great courage to give speaking to listen more and walked across the country to support environmentalism.
Since I can't train my legs to run, at least I can train my mind with programming projects and books about running.
