MichelleStudio Tunic finally made it out of the WIP pile! I started this months ago but hit a snag when all the neck and armhole facings were 2cm short (at least I am consistent). Switched to bias binding; made my own from a batch of fat quarters I had for a pillow project that never materialized. Seams are Frenched and all the bias binding is understitched. It is sturdy! I'm still not sure about the fit; it's a bit larger than it needs to be but I think it will work with boots and a bit of styling. Made from thrift store linen. I am pleased with this make. I made the most of the long weekend and sewed jersey covers for four yoga bolsters (so soft - I wish I had done this sooner), repaired a tank top, finished the arms holes in a dress I had modified, and repaired a skirt hem.
I have another pattern waiting in the wings and some more second hand fabric in my stash! Onward!
