#Gory details? My first #rabbit experience was as a child. I didn't know any better, and there were no sources of pet-rabbit knowledge available. I had a Netherlands Dwarf rabbit, and built a #hutch for her with a "hardware cloth" (aka "ferret wire") floor.

And yes, it caused problems with her #hocks and #paws. I learned later why this was, and that wire floors are terrible for rabbits. They're #cruel.

Use solid floors.
