Seth GalitzerAm I the only nerd that isn't into Tolkein and later works derived from his? I appreciate his impact on high fantasy as we know it, but honestly, I could never read his books. Instant snooze-fest for me. The Peter Jackson movies were fine and all, but I didn't love them, and I have friends that rewatch them annually, marathon-style. And the current Rings of Power series, I just have a hard time getting invested in.
