Anyone know what to do with a Prestige IAQ thermostat (THX9421R502WW) having it's RedLink wireless range suddenly die? I can get a 10 signal strength only when the thermostat is 1 foot away from the Equipment Interface Module. Any further and the signal strength drops precipitously.
Hoping to avoid a costly HVAC service visit...
Our #honeywell #evohome went a bit weird overnight. We use the controller as the sensor in our lounge, and when the heating turns off at 23:00 it usually slowly cools down to around 17degC by breakfast time.
But last night it seems to think that it started *heating up* from around 02:00
When I got home from work today it reckoned it was 22degC in there, and it obviously wasn't.
Rebooted the controller and it's back to showing the correct temp now. Very odd

I'm getting an SSL error when trying to connect to their API endpoint as 'tccna.honeywell.com', which isn't a SAN in the cert (it's all resideo.com addresses)
Looks like Honeywell updated some of their infrastructure and broke Home Assistant
My thermostat and locks came today.
The Honeywell T6 took 15 minutes to install and connect to Home Assistant via Z-Wave.
The locks took longer, but that's expected. Good news is that I got Kwikset locks, so my existing keys could be reused. They also use Z-Wave. I wish I could get the add-on that allows me to manage user codes, but I'll live without it. I can still set them in the Z-Wave UI.
Overall, pleased.
