A Saudi-financed company wants to build a massive wind farm near #hebdenbridge in West Yorkshire. 41 x Turbines each 200m high also a warehouse-sized Battery Storage Facility on protected deep peat moorland. It will straddle the #PennineWay. Please see the map on the petition page for a gauge of local opposition and give us a louder voice by signing. Ta.

I'm pretty sure this is a set up for the photos, but I know calderdale quite well and it does rather fit the differing attitudes between some of the conservative villages and the larger towns like Halifax, Todmorden and especially the very liberal Hebden Bridge. I think a lot of people's negative attitude to Hebden Bridge usually has more to do with homophobia than deep religious conviction though. It is known as the "Lesbian capital of the UK".

I got into how the night suggests rather than displays things, and really got into the depths of the lights on the tree.
