Elias Probst<p>We're thinking of giving <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/KubeVirt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KubeVirt</span></a> a try for a proof-of-concept, using Rancher's <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HarvesterHCI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HarvesterHCI</span></a> distribution as base OS so we don't have to build this all on our own.<br>But Harvester makes use of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Longhorn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Longhorn</span></a> for its storage needs instead of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Ceph" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Ceph</span></a> and the latest benchmarks of it that I could find from 2021 look, like it can't really compete with Ceph.</p><p>Has anyone seriously used it recently and can report on its stability and performance compared to Ceph?</p>
