Do you know #solarCooking ? Like with #gosun? It take sometimes an hour until the food is hot and cooked. I want it finished until I am back without waiting so I set it to sun where it would be shining 3..4 hours later. When I came back it was hot and finished like set with solar timer.

Trying out the non-solar capabilities of my solar oven… gotta practice. Working on the resilient self-reliant life. If it works, I can bake bread in the wilderness, at night.

What are some reasonable and good solar cookers these days? I can DIY, but would prefer something ready made.

Vacuum tubes like GoSun and SolarTube look very nice, but they are fairly expensive and I'd like something more portable and robust. Heating water and cooking easy meals will do.
