I like how the Glaxnimate file extension is a .rawr file. If it ever turns out that there needs to be an overhawl to the file format like .docx, then the new version should be a .rawrxd file.

Glaxnimate is a KDE 2D animation application. All the screenshots that I have seen online use the default light theme. I am not sure if Glaxnimate supports dark themes.

The name Glaxnimate is odd and the logo is a bit strange, but the application can generate 2D animations.

#glaxnimate seems like a useful alternative to #AdobeFlashProfessional for doing animations since it's vector graphics, not sure how fully-featured it is yet but I'll check it out.

Finally take time to implement simple quadratic (3 points) and Cubic (4 points) Bézier functions in #Lua for #tic80. My goal is to be able to render simple vector graphics shapes made in #SVG with #Inkscape, #Glaxnimate etc... Will probably do an intermediate data representation for TiC80.
Kid wants to make videos out of game footage on an android tabled.
I'm freaked out by how much all the commercial video software wants to spy on you.
There doesn't appear to be any, let alone good, FOSS #VideoEditing software on android.
It's also hard for kid to understand getting screenshots off of tablet onto desktop, and I'm not sure #kdenlive or #blender count as user friendly.
I tried suggesting #libreoffice but didn't manage to sell it.
#Glaxnimate might be a more appropriate tool for making animated stories, but lacks all the assets kid is used to from games.
Beside official version, I compiled #glaxnimate for #ARM64 version of #ArchLinux and #Ubuntu 22.04.. RISC-V 64 version fail for now. python-glaxnimate 0.5.2 fails on both ARM64, RV64 and x86_64.
@prokoudine #Glaxnimate 0.5.2 is just out today, with several interesting improvements. including addition of “Animation along Path” feature.
Beside KDEnlive usage Glaxnimate can also produce SVG animation output in SVG file, and SVG animation can be displayed standalone on most browser by just inserting the SVG as an image, without any scripting.
