#TIL that somehow the Container-Images for #Hugo provided by GitLab (for Gitlab-pages) stopped getting updates 4 months ago.

I updated the theme and my pipeline stopped working.
Why? Because the hugo-version was too old.

There’s now some community project, that provides many different flavours of up-to-date images: docker.hugomods.com

Switching to one of these community-images was easy and the pipeline is green again.

Update on , my Godot sailing game! I have refactored the wave code and made some more under-the-hood tweaks. I also set up a pipeline to automatically build the game and host the builds on . The repository is gitlab.com/TKK13909/nautilism and the website is nautilism-c15fcc.gitlab.io/

Please try it out and tell me what you think! I'm still trying to figure out the direction I want to take the game but I am happy to hear suggestions.

🚀 New no-code integration alert!

I just published a step-by-step guide to set up Headless WordPress with Silex

With this setup, you can use #WordPress as your CMS and @silex for web design, creating @eleventy static websites that deploy to GitLab Pages! 🔥

The workflow is similar to #Webflow, but 100% open source and built for developers and designers who love freedom. Check out the guide here:

Just managed to create a searchable, public Twitter archive for my former @juandesant@twitter.com account through GitLab Pages — not using GitHub anymore, if I can avoid it:

juandesant.gitlab.io/my-twitte

I used the in-browser, private Twitter archive tool by @darius, linked from the page above.

It was fun to see my early tweets, and a bit sad to see the last ones…

Resolved: Found the problem and it was me 🤪. I misspelled the filename when moving the file.

Dummy question

How do I add images to #GitLab pages build with #Jekyll
My local Jekyll instance copies the images folder but #GitLabCI doesn't

Not sure how to accomplish that the images are available on #GitLabPages

Boosts and any hints welcome.

I'm pretty sure that PEBCAK (problem exists between chair and keyboard) but i just don't know were to look. Do i explicitly need to include the image directory in Jekyll or do i need to copy it in #GitLabCI 🥴?
