ESRI is my nightmare in job application.

I do not want to be in Windows.

If the point is developing scripts, tools or dashboards please let me use tools that were build to do that. I do not believe that reproducing a GIS GUI as a dashboard is good UI/UX. I want a correct IDE or a terminal, I do not need a mapping platform at the same time ...

Finally if you need a DB, I want postresql/postgis not a "geodatabase" but I guess now even ESRI is good at connecting to PG.

Howdy #gischat folks - I'm seeing a lot of #AGOL maps lately with "cartoony" borders for political boundaries like states and counties. They look hand-drawn, with lots of obvious gaps and tilts. But they appear so often that I suspect there's a common source.

There's nothing "wrong" with them usually, because they are effective to convey the information at the typical scale. But they bug me just from an aesthetic perspective. Anyone know the source(s)?

Is there a reason python cannot/does not use null values in a simple addition formula?
It seems like such a simple ask. What's the logic behind that decision?

!Test1! + !Test2!, if there are any null values in either column, throws an error.
