Boris Kretzinger<p>Out of all the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Famicom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Famicom</span></a> clone consoles out there, this is the only one I'd love to actually own and take a closer look at: The Zenon 2, allegedly made in South Korea and perhaps from the early 2000s. </p><p>The <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Atari" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atari</span></a> conaisseurs among you will notice a certain relationship to the Jaguar - but the molds never left the US, where all cases were made, and so it would be nice to see how close they got to the real Jaguar with their guesswork for the case here. Unfortunately, they seem to be incredibly rare - so much so that this is the only photo that I could find of this variation (there seems to be a blue one that also seems to be a bit more crude in design than this). So in case you own one and want to sell it, or would at least feel comfortable taking some good quality pics of it, or you live or know anyone living in South Korea who might be able to help trace this console down, feel free to share, comment or link someone here. </p><p>I'd be very happy to someday get this and maybe add a little footnote in my book "Clipped Claws" about this very strange thing. I mean who'd come up with the idea to make a Famiclone 8bit clone console look like a failed Atari console basically nobody knew about in the target area? Fascinating all around the more you think about it. Well, enough rambling - thanks for your time anyways. Cheers!</p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/atarijaguar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>atarijaguar</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/famiclone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>famiclone</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/nes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nes</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/gamecollecting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gamecollecting</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/cloneconsoles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cloneconsoles</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nintendo</span></a></p>
