Most TV pieces age, some fast, some gradually, and when we re-watch them 5, 10, 20 years later, they are ... a bit embarrassing. We ask ourselves who we were when we saw them and enjoyed them when they first showed.Not here. Foyle's War is still as fresh today as when it was shown first. But <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/FoylesWar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FoylesWar</a> is my favorite. I love the period and Michael Kitchen’s poignant performance (with an amazing supporting cast).Most I watch on the local PBS stations

The show had a rocky start but soon joined out regular viewing line up. The total lack of Black people is an issue for me and in season 7, we have an episode focused on Black soldiers. Let’s see how it does for a 2013 show.

NigelWatched a repeat of (the excellent) <a href="https://musicians.today/tags/foyleswar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#foyleswar</a> and it was the one where there's a n*zi obsessed son of a 'businessman' (one who is happy to profit from both sides). The abhorrent son is played by one Lawrence Fox. In light of what transpired in the years since then, is it a case of 'the method' acting gone tragically wrong? Or just some sort of irony...
