We need another dinosaur documentary.
We need another dinosaur documentary.
This was a cute watch! I think the first one was more memorable, but I like where this franchise is going. Those last couple of scenes in Moana 2 in particular were really good.
That’s all I can say without sharing spoilers.
The tornadoes are incredible.
Just realized I forgot to tag @megsobrien in this thread.
I love the music in this film. So catchy.
Starting Moana 2 now.
I will be starting Moana 2 sometime in the next couple of hours. I even went to the store and bought microwave popcorn and Junior Mints for this occasion. (But no soda because I’m not a big fan of carbonated beverages!)
It will be like going to the movie theatre but better.
Oh thank the gods, we are getting FOUR feature-length biopic #Movies about #TheBeatles. I was so afraid that there wasn't enough content about the Boomers' favorite band from when they were in highschool SERIOUSLY WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO MAKE THIS FUCKING STOP???!!!!1!
I am going to be in the goddamn NURSING HOME but as long as there's some 107 year old #Boomer still alive we will all have to keep pretending they were OMG THE BESTEST MOST GENIUS BAND EVER I just can't.
I am planning to watch Moana 2 this weekend - probably tomorrow if it’s as rainy as it is predicted to be that day - and may be live tweeting it.
If you’ve seen it, let’s talk about it this weekend!
A live action Legend Of Zelda film? What could possibly go wrong?

Tonight I’ve been reading about the Hays Code and how they affected what could and couldn’t be shown in films from about 1934 to 1968. Interesting stuff: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hays_Code
Wait, this isn't doomscrolling, this is good news. There's going to be a Rosetta Tharpe biopic, and #Lizzo will star!

This week's #Movie tidbit: "Black Bag" is a very good time, maybe not so visually stunning so that you *have* to see it in the theatre, but definitely worth seeing. Suspense, infidelity, treason, sabotage, drone strikes, and wait, why did you buy a new rug?
4/5 spy movie, recommend.

Enjoyed the film circuit premier of The Ladder, a family drama #scifi feature set in Ketchikan, #alaska. Directed by 24 year old NYU film school grad Emilio Miguel Torres. Catch it if you can!
Several cast members, and Emilio's mom, were also on hand.

There's less than a day left to get in on this bit of #TTRPG hotness written by my friend Benjamin Gray and playtested, in part, by me!

You and your friends can remake the films that disappointed you, just like the pros do on popular #ActualPlay podcast "Roleplay Retcon." The only additional gaming equipment you need is a standard deck of playing cards!

"The Hunters in the Snow" by Pieter Bruegel in Andrey Tarkovsky's Mirror
@revndm #RiffRaff um, wow. That was a wild ride. Sort of a Royal Tenenbaums repressed family vibe, but unlike that, this has enough comic relief to keep it from getting annoying. Jennifer Coolidge is perfectly wacky and pathetic, Bill Murray is at his checked-out, nihilistic best, and then the tension all just descends into murderous violence.
I'm not sure what I just saw but it was extremely entertaining.
Alright, well, let's give this a shot! (Let's see if theres a reason Lionsgate decided not to promote this?)
