One of the best things about #Festivus becoming popular is that I can offer Festivus wishes to people who seem too cruel or destructive to comport with the #Christmas spirit (or the spirit of any other traditional holiday of this season).

That is, I can sincerely tell them, "I look forward to displaying feats of strength and airing my grievances with you." Then they'll smile and get a laugh out of what I consider a literal warning that I plan to oppose them soon!
